Atlantaartisticweddings captures Atlanta Skyline

The Atlanta wedding photographers at capture Skyline

The Atlanta wedding photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings capture the city's skyline and Atlanta Landmarks

As a Atlanta wedding photographer is truly an honor to photograph so many wonderful locations.  This was a great wedding and such a wonderful couple!  During the planning stages they picked some iconic Atlanta locations to capture the city's skyline.

To get some great photos you need to some planning ahead of time.  This couple was great!  We made a google map and shared it with me.  That way when we look at the map we can pick photo locations in between the church and the reception.  So when the big day came we could hit 3 different iconic photo locations on the way to the reception.  We did it all in 45 minutes!

One of the other locations we shot at was at Centennial  Park nestled in the heart of the city. We walked across the park and took some photos by the Olympic ring fountain.  Yes I stood in the middle of the fountain to get this shot.   You know a Atlanta wedding photographer will do anything to get the shot.   I like the blurred Atlanta skyline in the background and the water in the fountain in the foreground.

I want to give this Atlanta bride and groom a big thanks!  They were so gracious through out the day.  They enjoyed the moment and had a wonderful time.  They were surrounded by great family and friends who celebrated their special day!

Thank you so  much for visiting!  I would love to hear from you.  Please go to Atlanta Artistic Weddings website and go to the contact section and drop me a line.

The classic Atlanta city sky line wedding exit with sparklers by the Atlanta wedding photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings

This weekend I had the honor of shooting a great wedding with a wonderful couple.  They were so thoughtful and fun!  The wedding was held at Catholic church in Atlanta called the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  The church is located at 4465 Northside Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.  The church has two beautiful sanctuaries for any size wedding.   It was the second time I shot at that church this year.  The wedding guild was great and very gracious.   They also communicated very well with the bride, groom and vendors on the decorum in the church.
After the wedding we took photos at the classic photo locations through out the city.  We stopped at Winn Park, A Parking Deck, and Centennial Park.  We went to all the Atlanta locations in less than a hour.   By doing this short stops we got a lot of variety in the photos.
The reception was held at Terminus 330 located at 330 Marietta St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.  It is a wonderful venue in the heart of downtown Atlanta.  Nestled in between  Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium and The Mercedes Benz Stadium According to their website:

"Built in 1912 and located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, Terminus 330’s intimate yet spacious historic features are both industrial and elegant, highlighted by exposed brick, heavy timber columns, and original hardwood floors.

The 5,400 square foot Central Station makes the perfect backdrop for corporate events, retail pop-ups, holiday parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, non-profit events, and many other celebrations. The Cellar, an additional 3,000 square foot, 1920’s New York-inspired space, adds a sense of luxury and intrigue to any event."
The photos above was shot by the Atlanta Wedding Photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings. The wedding exit with sparklers looked great with the Atlanta skyline in the background.  It was such an honor to shoot this wonderful Atlanta couple!

Thank you so much for visiting!  I hope all these photo ideas help the everyone.  I would love to hear from you.  Please visit AtlantaArtisticWeddings and go to the contact section and drop me a line.  I would love to hear from you!

AtlantaArtisticWeddings shoot Harry Potter and Superhero Themed Wedding

Superhero themed high heels for the bride

The Atlanta Wedding Photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings shoot detail rich wedding

As a Atlanta wedding photographer I get to see so many colorful weddings.  What I love is when I get to see some one's personality show through in their wedding. This weeks wedding was great for that.  The wedding had so many hand-made details.  Every where I turned there was another detail.  I got a tour of all the details from one of the bridesmaids.

Heart on shaped shadow on Harry Potter novel with wedding rings

My bride is a fan of Harry Potter and superheros.  The bride hand-decorated each one of her bridesmaids shoes and she even decorated her own bridal high heel shoes in different superheros.  The shoes were colorful and fun!  If you have a group like this they are not just going to put her wedding ring in a box.  What she did was to put it in a Harry Potter novel cut out to the page with Luna Lovejoy on it and place the ring there.  When you look at the photos you can see the heart that is made with the shadow on the book.

Thank you so much for visiting! I hope you got to and drop me a line.  I would love to hear from you!

AtlantaArtisticWeddings shoot at the Payne Corley House

Payne Corley House Wedding Venue In Duluth Georgia

The Atlanta wedding photographers at shoot at the famed Payne Corley House an Historic Event Venue

This weekend I had the honor of shooting at one of my favorite venues the Payne Corley House.  The Atlanta wedding photographers at love shooting at this historic event venue.  They are staffed by many professionals.  This week we worked with Jennifer Fulford.  She was great to work with and a real team player!  She took care of the Bride and Groom through out the day.

To give a little background on this venue.  The owners of the venue are Krista Summerour Ganley and her husband Michael Ganley.  They make a great team and complement each other's talents perfectly.  He is a classically trained chef and been working in the restaurant insdustry since 1994.  Krista has been int the hospitality industry since 1995.  She has been at the Ritz-Carlton and other properties in New Orleans and Atlanta.

The history of the actual building I am going to take from their website.

The Payne-Corley House was built between 1870 and 1873 by David Little when Duluth was still known as “Howell’s Crossing.” Built as a farmhouse, the home received a date placard in 1873, the same year that the city took on its current name of Duluth, most likely indicating the year that the Little family made it their permanent home. Later, the home was sold to the Respess family who also maintained it as a private residence.

When Miss Winnie was ready to leave the house, a group of five girlhood friends of Betsy Corley and Duluth natives, purchased the home and christened it the Payne-Corley House.  They transformed the beloved family home into a unique special events facility. Jane (Lynott) Wilson, Judy (Mulkie) Burel, Annette (Knox) Summerour, Margie (Tonge) Ross and Emma (Bray) Deavours, known as the “Dreamkeepers,” were dedicated to maintaining the home’s historic charm while refurbishing it to meet the needs of a modern clientele. They successfully built the Payne-Corley House into one of the Southeast’s most celebrated event destinations.

In 2004, the daughter of one of the Dreamkeepers, Duluth native Krista Summerour Ganley, and her husband, Michael Ganley, brought their world-class experience in events management and gourmet cuisine as the Payne-Corley House’s new management team. In 2008, the Ganleys purchased the Payne-Corley House and launched a major facility expansion with upgrades across the property, providing enhanced services for weddings and special events.

What really makes the venue great is though is the staff.  They are one of the greatest wedding teams out there.  This week we had a change in the weather and the staff took care of everything!  What I describe on wedding day is "we monitor and adjust" because trough out the day conditions and time change.  What you keep in mind is you are on a team that main objective is to help the bride and groom in any way that you can!

AtlantaArtisticWeddings shoots at Ponce City Market

By the Atlanta Wedding Photographers at

Atlanta Artistic Weddings shoots at The Ponce City Market with Bride and Great Wedding Dress!

As a Atlanta wedding photographer at it is amazing to me all the options that you have as a photographer.   There are so many places to have weddings and photo shoots.  This week I was shooting off the Beltline at the Ponce City Market.  The bride was great!

This week we get to go to one of Atlanta's most famous land marks the Ponce City Market.  In 2014, Ponce City Market began to reopen the fully renovated Sears, Roebuck & Company building in Atlanta’s burgeoning Old Fourth Ward. Linked directly to the Atlanta BeltLine, and located across from Historic Fourth Ward Park, our iconic stretch of Ponce de Leon Avenue is a major part of the redevelopment movement at the crossroads of Atlanta’s most established neighborhoods.

From the Ponce website:
"At the heart of Ponce City Market is the marketplace itself, a flexible space to gather, eat and shop. In the Central Food Hall, artisan chefs and local purveyors fill an authentic market with the design, food, and flavors of Atlanta. From morning coffee to lunchtime shopping and date-night dinners, the Central Food Hall is a daily gathering place and culinary destination, year-round."

The bride wore a chiffon wedding dress with layers that flowed when she moved as you can see for the wedding photography.  She wore a diamond and silver necklace that complimented the silver trim on the top of the wedding dress.  The dress had a subtle Baroque top.  She was a great bride who just wanted to have fun in  Atlanta!

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you keep coming back. Please go to to the contact section and drop me a line I would love to hear from you!

Atlanta Artistic Weddings Shoots at Krog Street Tunnel

Krog Street Wedding Photography by the

Atlanta wedding photographers at AtlantaArtisticWeddings shoot a Urban themed wedding shot with a bride at Krog Street Tunnel

As a Atlanta wedding photographer at I get to shoot at a lot of unique places.  From churches, historic venues and urban landscapes.  This week I got to do a wedding shoot at a urban area of Atlanta.  This land mark is the Krog Street Tunnel! When you think of a urban landmark you should think of the Krog street tunnel.

The Krog street tunnel is famous for it's graffiti.  It is like a piece of living art in the sense that the wall are constantly being painted and changing.  Every time I have gone there the walls and even the sidewalk are different.  The graffiti ranges from small images,  words to large detailed murals.  It is a great place to see emerging artists and people who just want to express their selves in paint!

The bride in this case wanted a Atlanta urban wedding shoot.  The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress.  It was strapless with silver details around the top.   The dress was layered with chiffon that flowed with her every move.  She wore a silver and diamond necklace that complemented the bride and wedding dress perfectly.

The Bride could not have been more fun to shoot.  She embraced the idea of a urban wedding photo shoot.  The Atlanta wedding photographers were honored to shoot such a beautiful bride for a energetic urban wedding shoot.

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you keep coming back.  Please go to Atlanta Artistic Weddings contact page and drop me a line I would love to hear from you!
